Logan 1.0

Alright, alright!  To all of those who sent me e-mails about my big reveal - it's happening tomorrow, okay?  For reals!  Pinky swear!

First, though: my guy!  He turned one!  I need more exclamation points for this post today!!

One year stats:
Height: 31.5 inches (70th%)
Weight: 21.85 lbs (55th%) {See also: RIGHT?!  55th percentile?!  Who among us saw that one coming, since he grew from 7 pounds to almost 19 at 6 months, and only to 22 at a year?!)
Head circumference: 95% (I can't remember the inches)

Some things about Logan at 1 year:

He is walking!  He makes it about 15 wobbly steps before falling on his tushy but it counts.  That's far enough to get from one end of the kitchen to the other, or all the way down the hall upstairs.  He loves to hold hands and walk with assistance so that he can go a little further and faster.

My sweet boy is a talker.  His words include:
Mama             Kitty           Catch
Dada               This            Duck
Sissy               That            Book
Doggy             Baby          Antidisestablishmentarianism

Okay, so the last one isn't real, but I'm blanking on the 12th word right now and 11 words in three columns grates on my OCD.

Little Logan spent the day of his first birthday party snuggling up with mama and running a fever.  Poor little man had croup, so we unfortunately had to cancel.  It would have been a really fun party if it had happened...  but, there's always next year.

He is no longer nursing, although he hates cow's milk.  Doc says it's no big deal as long as he gets 3 servings of calcium a day, which we're making up with yogurt and cheese.

Because he loves yogurt and cheese.

He wears size 3 diapers, size 3 shoes and 12 mo clothing.

He has 2 teeth on the bottom, and is currently breaking 4 teeth on the top.

He is the most hilarious little mimicker.  While playing at sister's kitchen, he makes a washing noise when he pretends to wash his hands.  He babbles incessantly and copies every noise Leah makes.

He knows many things and can point to most things you ask him while reading.

He barks like a dog and roars like a lion when you ask him what sound those animals make.

He is soooo funny, and loves to make people laugh.  I can tell that he is going to have a fantastic sense of humor.

We love, love, love our sweet baby boy.  This has been the fastest year... I can't believe we've reached this milestone already.
